I went to HC Automotive in October 2016. I went in for transmission shifting hard and a Traction Control Service light on. After changing a leaking line and transmission flush, the garage said the issue was fixed. As soon as I got back on the highway, the issue was unchanged. The repairs weren't guaranteed to solve my problem, but after a large bill, and a false "Issue Resolved", I am left where I started with a traction control light that was never addressed and hard shifting.
Being a person who self-describes as being completely unknowledgeable about vehicles and car care, my family and I depend on working with someone who is not only professional and skilled at what they do, but above else, someone that we can trust. Life is busy -- I don't want to have to deal with more unexpected breakdowns and issues that take me away from my day than I have to. HC Automotive takes a ton of care with each client that comes in and approaches business the right way. I don't want the cheapest... I want the best value -- and I put a lot of value in HC Automotive's extra effort in thoroughly checking our vehicles over and telling me what issues exist today and what issues are on the horizon. They aren't pushy or sales-y, but they do a good job educating me on what is important or what can wait. Huge value on that to me and I appreciate that they aren't condescending and they don't look to take advantage of someone who doesn't know.
Changed to 1 star as my fix was $10 for a new MAF Connector. My MAF did register a code that the garage ignored.
I needed a tire fixed in a pinch and the guys at HC Automotive were on it right away. The technician was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. He took the time to explain all the work he did. When I told him that we were leaving for vacation, he even checked the oil and topped that off. Great customer service, honest prices, and skilled workers....look no further than HC Automotive.
HC and Jon have gone above and beyond to take care of us, and isn't your typical auto repair shop. Last week Jon even picked up my car, drove it to the shop and had it taken care of that same day. I appreciate their integrity and fully trust HC with the vehicle that drives my kiddos around,
